Sports

King’s House believes in the importance of developing the boys physically through PE and Games. PE and Games are taught by specialist teachers from Nursery upwards and from Year 1 the boys take advantage of the 35-acre sports ground that the School owns in Chiswick for Games lessons.

The main sports are football, rugby and cricket but athletics, swimming and tennis also feature. In recent years the School has enjoyed considerable sporting success particularly with its rugby teams.

We run plenty of teams for each age group to give as many boys as possible the opportunity to experience competitive fixtures.

We have a fully equipped gym and an Astroturf which enables us to provide plenty of variety for the weekly PE sessions. In addition, all boys from Reception to Year 3 go swimming once a week, and swimming is an after-school option further up the School.

The School has run very successful sports tours in the last few years to Antigua (cricket), South Africa (rugby) and Belgium and Holland (football).
